Web design and development is something that I have enjoyed immensely since I left school at the age of 16. I left school to start work as I have a daughter and wanted to be able to support and provide for her. I tried many different jobs and never found one that I had a passion for. I started looking at web design as a possible career choice. I learned some of the basics through internet tutorials and realised that this was the career path that I wanted. My passion for web design grew but I knew I had to further my skills. I decided to do a college course in Multimedia Technology. This course led on to a bachelor degree at Napier. I have now come to the end of my honours course and still find that my passion for web design and development is still as prominent as it was when I first learned HTML.I thoroughly enjoy designing websites that are attractive and fully accessible. My honours project was an exemplar website that offered advice to charities regarding accessibility on the web.
